Artificial intelligence (AI) is a field that many researchers are keen to develop. AI is a very broad and dynamic field. Here are some of the topics that have been discussed recently in the IAES International Journal of Artificial Intelligence (IJ-AI).

Machine Learning

Machine Learning (ML) includes algorithms and techniques that allow computers to learn from data sets to make deductions. ML algorithms are powerful in solving human tasks, such as predicting human health conditions (from stress to heart disease), recognizing fraud, and many more.

Deep Learning

Deep Learning (DL) is a subfield of ML. It utilizes artificial neural networks to learn complex patterns from massive amounts of data. DL excels in tasks such as image and speech recognition, natural language processing (NLP), and even generating text, voice, and image outputs.

Neural Network

Neural Networks (NN) are computational models created by modelling the structure and function of the human brain. NNs consist of interconnected nodes (artificial neurons) that process data and learn through experience from the data. NN is the core element of DL algorithms. NNs make it possible to learn complex relationships in the data, resulting in more accurate predictions or classifications.

Natural Language Processing

Natural Language Processing (NLP) discusses the ability of computers to understand and process human language. This includes tasks such as sentiment analysis to chatbot development. NLP has the potential to revolutionize the way humans interact with computers. NLP makes it possible to communicate with machines in a natural and intuitive (non-coding) way. For example, NLP can be used to develop accurate tagging of Amazigh speech.
