Reviewer Qualifications

To maintain the highest standards of scholarly review, IPMU invites professionals who meet the following criteria:

  • Demonstrated expertise in relevant research fields.
  • A minimum of three years of research experience.
  • At least three publications in areas aligned with the journal’s scope.
  • Preferably hold a doctoral degree and have prior experience as a peer reviewer.

Qualified individuals are encouraged to join the IPMU reviewer team and contribute to the advancement of academic knowledge through critical and constructive peer review.

Reviewers are expected to provide fair, objective, and constructive evaluations of submitted manuscripts. Each review should include:

  1. Brief Summary
    Summarize the aim, scope, main contributions, and key strengths of the manuscript.
  2. General Comments
    Discuss any major concerns such as:
    – Testability of hypotheses
    – Methodological flaws or oversights
    – Incomplete or absent control variables
  3. Specific Comments
    Provide detailed suggestions with reference to:
    – Line numbers
    – Tables or figures
    – Sentences or paragraphs that are unclear, inaccurate, or require correction

Reviewers should also assess the clarity, relevance, and structure of the manuscript, evaluate the recency and relevance of cited references, and ensure conclusions are consistent with the evidence presented.
