University of Edinburgh Full Online Distance Learning Scholarship

This graduate scholarship program is different from other regular scholarship programs. This scholarship is intended for those who want to study remotely online. The University of Edinburgh, UK has opened a master’s level distance learning scholarship aimed at a number of low to middle-income countries, one of which is Indonesia. The University of Edinburgh scholarship program is available through the Edinburgh Global Online Learning Masters Scholarships scheme. As well as offering online-based distance learning, the study also takes place part-time. It can be applied for by the general public or those who are currently working.

The distance learning scholarships offered by the University of Edinburgh cover full tuition fees for the duration of the master’s program. The criteria for applicants targeted by this online master’s scholarship program are academic achievement and excellence in the personal statement submitted. Priority will be given to applicants who have never taken a master’s degree before.

The University of Edinburgh provides 20 distance learning scholarship seats for the 2023-2024 academic year. Those interested in applying for this scholarship can do so online. However, before applying for the scholarship, applicants must first register and select a Master’s degree program of interest at the University of Edinburgh.

Requirements:

  1. Applicant must be a citizen and permanent resident of an eligible country (Indonesia is one of them).
  2. Applicants have been offered a place at the University of Edinburgh and have clearly accepted the offer or intend to do so.
  3. Applicants will be asked to include the following in their personal statement: (a) what particular elements of the program attracted you to the University of Edinburgh; (b) how successful completion of the program will benefit your career and personal development and (c) how it will enable you to contribute to your community/region or country?

Registration:
To gain access to the scholarship registration system, applicants must first apply to the University of Edindburgh and select a master’s program of study. After submitting the course application, it takes about five days for the system to check and access to the scholarship registration to be granted to the applicant.

The scholarship application form is located at EUCLID and can be accessed online through the web-based MyEd portal at https://www.myed.ed.ac.uk

To login to MyEd, you will need your username and password from the University when you register for the course.

Applications for the University of Edinburgh distance learning scholarship for the academic year 2023-2024 are open until June 5, 2023. All applicants who apply will be notified of the selection results by mid-July 2023. Good luck!
